Move Away From Night Sweats With These Comfortable Cooling Pajama

s One of the easiest ways to ensure you are not going to have a good night’s sleep is to be too hot. Sleeping while you feel overheated leads to a restless and wakeful night that will leave you feeling sluggish and dehydrated throughout the day. Sleeping in a room that is more than 68 degrees Fahrenheit can affect your sleep quality, which over time can have a major negative impact on your health and lead to weight gain, depression and higher blood pressure. One of the best ways to maintain a comfortable body temperature is by wearing pajamas with cooling features. When sleeping in a warm room, it may seem like common sense to ditch your PJs and opt...

And losing the baby weight is harder and harder each time. I’m less about impulsive buys with my clothes because my body fluctuates between pregnancy and postpartum and working out each year. I could burn through a lot of cash buying clothes for each stage of motherhood but I’m more frugal than that – and...

A Spring Closet Detox

Staying at home has motivated me to tackle some projects around the house. Over the weekend, I decided to take another whack at my closet organization. This time, I focused on winnowing down and tidying up my shoes. I probably should have taken a “Before” photo, but frankly I was too embarrassed. There were loose pairs stacked on some of the boxes, and the ones I’ve been wearing most often were in a jumble on the floor. I cleared out over 1/3 of what I started with. Here’s how it looked once I was done. I like these clear plastic boxes for shoe storage. (I use the Women’s size for shoes, Men’s size for my ankle boots or bulkier shoes.)...
