I hope your Monday is off to a good start! I’ve got an extra pep in my step today because I’m teaming up with one of my long-standing favourite Canadian-made brands, Power of My People

For the last several years I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jessica Matthew, co-founder and designer, and can fully attest to the long-lasting quality and thoughtfulness behind this line of impeccably crafted shirts (& more). The latest collection, SOL, is filled with sunset hues, hunter greens, crisp stripes and features the brand’s inaugural take on a tailored pant (spoiler alert: it’s GOOD!). As much as this season’s palette and new shapes has me swooning, today I’m revisiting the styles I’ve loved since the start, which are The Friend and The Philosopher. Both shirts have been mainstays in my spring and summer closet for years now and I’m still discovering new ways to wear them! I hope you’ll scroll on...

It’s a great way to study looks and hash out what’s working and what is not. For the purposes of this series, a ‘week’ will consist of five days. I like giving myself some off-duty time on the weekends. However, on Sundays I often dress up a bit, so you may see a Sunday swapped for a Monday. To those who love studying style and seeing what others are wearing, this is for you, and I hope you enjoy it. MONDAY: I jumped at the chance to style this new, double-breasted blazer from Everlane. I bought their Glen Plaid blazer a few months ago and I love it. Later this week, I am putting together a post on how to...

A fall barn

Hi there! I was going to start this post with… “man, isn’t this month just flying?” But then I’d be a total broken record, and I can admit that, even though it IS flying! But yeah, we got out and took these photos before the colors really took a turn, so it’s funny that it’s just a small hint of color here… where right now outside it’s full peak color! It’s definitely my goal to get out and take more photos this week and weekend while it’s so perfect outside. But yeah, I threw this outfit together quickly, and ended up liking how it turned out! I was just gifted these olive wide leg pants from Lulu’s — they’re so...

It was a maternity leave of sorts, I guess.  It’s funny; I truly thought I’d never want to do it again. I mean, I was doing it occasionally, trying to keep the blog going....
