I’m not much of a skirt person

It seems the older I get, the less flattering they look. I don’t like the way they cut me across the midsection and emphasize that my waist isn’t as whittled as it once was. For me, dresses are just easier. In addition to finding them more flattering, figuring out which top to wear with a skirt can add an additional step that can be avoided when wearing dresses. New Spring 2021 YA Books For Your Towering TBR

The weather is finally bringing with it some hope that spring (or, in the southern hemisphere, fall) is on the horizon, if it’s not here completely. With the new season comes a whole crop of exciting new spring 2021 YA books for your ever-growing TBR. 10 Steps to Help Older Women Get Energized for Losing Weight at the End of the Year

This year is quickly coming to a close. As a holistic nutritionist I’m often asked: “What is the secret to lasting weight loss?” That’s a heavy question, no pun intended. Here are 10 things I’ve learned in the 20+ years I’ve been helping older women who want to lose weight: #1: The Law of Attraction Matters Do you ever hear slender women talking about wanting to lose weight or how many calories they have consumed on a given day? Somewhere deep in their brains they have learned to eat enough, but not too much. They don’t think about calories or weight… they think about other things and eat when they are hungry. #2: Consider Your Eating Habits Weight is only...
